300 Firefighters Battling Forest Fires in Chernobyl Exclusion Zone

Firefighters still battling bush fires in Chernobyl's exclusion zone for over a week now.

Is this another Australia? Let's lend a hand to put a stop to this before its too late.

A 27 year old man has been detained for involvement in the forest fires.

Forest Fires Rage in the Exclusion Zone and Head Toward the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant

Bush fires have been raging in Chernobyl exclusion zones since approximately April 3rd, 2020.

Radiation levels have been intensifying above normal due to these conditions.

Officials have been building firebreaks around the Chernobyl plant as the forest fires continue to make their way toward the nuclear plant.

Inside the Exclusion Zone of Fukushima's Radioactive Forest

As we know from Chernobyl and its infamous exclusion zone, Time will reveal all. In many respects, Chernobyl is a radioactive experiment, unfortunately. Even more tragic, is a 2nd nuclear experiment we can now learn from; and, that is from the exclusion zone from Fukushima, Japan: A radioactive forest in the heart of the Fukushima exclusion zone.

Weeks of Nuclear Fallout

As workers at Fukushima continue to battle ongoing issues at the nuclear plants, new information about radioactive fallout continues to make its appearance in the news today.

In the Asian News Network leaders are preparing Taiwan for a storm of fallout expected over the next few days.

“People should stay home while the nuclear fallout is here in order to avoid prolonged exposure, a specialist with the Veterans General Hospital said, adding those who must go out should immediately take off their clothes and cleanse nuclear contaminants from their bodies as soon as they are back home.”

“People should wear long-sleeved clothing and masks when they go out on a sunny day and carry an umbrella if it rains, said AEC's Lee Jo-chan, who also recommended cleansing showers, but not iodine tablets and table salt.”

Later, the following day, Taiwan withdrew its expectation of fallout as winds took a different direction.

French authorities have detected radioactive iodine-131 in the rainwater and milk in France. A sample of rainwater tested on March 28 showed radioactivity levels of 8.5 becquerel. According to the CRIIRAD, contamination of the air and rain water will continue for at least the next few weeks.

Meanwhile, in San Francisco rainwater is radiated 181 times above the US drinking standards. The University of Berkley is also said to have tested tap water. A tap water sample contained 0.024 ± 0.014 Becquerels per liter, which is lower than the tested rainwater samples.

Also in the news today, “The U.S. Department of Energy has testified that there is no level of radiation that is so low that it is without health risks,” Jacqueline Cabasso, the Executive Director of the Western States Legal Foundation stated.

“That means all this talk about what a worker or the public can withstand on a yearly basis is bogus. There is no safe level of radiation exposure. These so-called safe levels are coming from within the nuclear establishment.”

She further comments on the perils of using natural background radiation norms as a rule of a thumb in the current fallout scenario, “But more than 2,000 nuclear tests have enhanced this background radiation level, so we are already living in an artificially radiated environment due to all the nuclear tests.”

This month marks the 25th anniversary of Chernobyl. Last week also marked the 32nd anniversary of the Three Mile Island nuclear disaster in Pennsylvania.

Regarding Chernobyl,“There are still no-go areas there, and the workers town has long since been abandoned, and we are seeing radioactive refugees from there, like we are now seeing generated in Japan,” says Dr. Kathleen Sullivan. “So we don’t understand this mistake because of the timeless invisible nature of the problem that radiation is,” says Sullivan, who has been an education consultant to the UN Office for Disarmament Affairs.

Meanwhile on the topic of radioactive dispersion globally, Andrea Stahl, a senior scientist at the Norwegian Institute for Air Research, told Reuters, “It’s only a matter of days before it disperses in the entire northern hemisphere.”

Scientists continue to debate whether nuclear fission is indeed an ongoing concern at the Fukushima plants after detecting neutrons in samples, and multiple sightings of neutron beams at the reactors.

One thing that seems agreed upon in the news today: we can expect to hear more about nuclear fallout dispersing worldwide over the next few weeks, at least - if not months.

Radiation 101: Electromagnetic Spectrum, Bananas and RadioPhobia

It’s important to understand some of the types of radiation we can experience every day. Radiation, in a general context, refers to a source of energy that travels through space and may be able to penetrate certain materials. A good analogy is light. As we get more specific about various types of radiation, it’s helpful to view sources of radiation as part of the electromagnetic spectrum.

The Electromagnetic Spectrum

Within the electromagnetic spectrum different types of radiation are mapped in intensity and grouped into ionizing radiation and non-ionizing radiation. All sources of ionizing radiation are essentially man-made (X-rays, nuclear radiation), except for very low-level ultraviolet rays with slightly higher frequencies than visible light. Cosmic energy is also ionizing, but the atmosphere and ozone layer try to deal with filtering out cosmic radiation daily.

As we move to the far end of ionizing radiation we can notice that frequencies are higher and waves are shorter. Natural non-ionizing radiation, which we encounter every day, tends to be less energetic with longer wave lengths.

What is Ionizing Radiation?

Ionizing radiation simply means particles or electromagnetic waves that are energized. This causes electrons to detach from atoms or molecules. Ionization creates free radicals, and we’ve all heard much about free radicals and the health consequences for the last decade to understand the difference between ionizing and non-ionizing particles or waves.

Do we live in a radiated world? Yes. Do we live in an inherently ionized world? Nope. There’s a huge difference. Ionizing radiation is linked to cancers, heart disease and genetic coding malformations, to name a few. Non-ionizing radiation consists of radiowaves, microwaves and infrared to name a few.

Bananas and RadioPhobia

When you eat a banana, you get a good source of naturally non-ionized potassium. Due to the fact that a banana consists of non-ionized radiation we can be assured eating it will not create genetic birth effects. Conversely, if that banana was exposed to high or low levels of ionized radiation from a nuclear plant – you’d likely throw that banana out and not eat it. You can read about our previous article Why We Can't Compare Eating a Banana to Nuclear Fallout here.

Eating one banana per day X 365 days per year =
36 μSv per year dosage

Bananas contain a rare radioactive isotope of potassium, which undergoes three types of beta decay. Just like in bananas, Potassium-40 also exists in the human body, but remains a fraction of the 160 grams of potassium the human body contains. Potassium-40 should not be confused with the other stable isotopes of potassium.

There are three potassium isotopes. K-39 (a stable isotope), the most abundant approximately 93% total; K-41 is next at almost 7% and is also a stable isotope. The radioactive isotope, K-40 has a very low concentration of 0.0118% and has a very long half-life of 1,260,000,000 years. I'll still take two bananas please!

So the next time the atomic energy run media tells you we live in a radiated world lumping both ionized and non-ionized sources of energy together (so don’t worry about low levels of nuclear radiation) – tell them to shove it.

We'll also hear all about radiation-phobia in the news and business owners who are instructing citizens to support the economy because civilians won’t buy their radiated products. Your health is more important than their fat bank accounts so don't pay attention to them either. You can read about the Ionizing Radiation Coverup Here.

It is my opinion the average person as we aggregate together is going to finally tell the atomic industry, including media and government supporters of atomic energy industry that we have had enough. We will not care to support the atomic agenda any longer. When this finally happens they will finally have no choice and will be weeded out by the people.

“By and For the People.”

We put together this 2-part article to counter-balance the idiocy of those who prefer to stick their head in the sand (so be it - let them) and provide our insights to anyone interested in more facts and opinions on the world wide web. It may or may not have been the best way to dessiminate information, because all types of radiation under various levels (both ionizing and non-ionizing)can wreak biological havoc at different times.

However, for the media and for those who stick their head in the sand is it correct to tell others less knowledgeable that we live in a radiated world so who cares - why worry? All levels of radiation bring risks, and we live in a highly radiated world nowadays compared to thousands of years earlier. The point is no one needs more radiation. Period.

Some would prefer to just wait things out, live in denial, until humans visibly demonstrate mutant genetic tendencies. Other intelligent beings prefer to use their intelligence and act proactively, question things and find solutions BEFORE we get to that point. At that point, it's too late. Obviously such persons care not about the future generations in such short-sightedness and self-centered living. I think few would question the moral and spiritual emptiness of our cultural times.

Ways to Manage Radiation Poisoning

Ever since March 11th citizens across North America begun stockpiling iodide pills, known to counter the effects of radiation fallout and the associated risks of developing thyroid cancer.

Iodide Pills or Natural Foods?

Whether you live in a zone in risk of nuclear contamination, or not - here are some other preventative measures you and your family can consider for your overall health. Iodide pills can create complications or allergic reactions for a portion of the population, but taking daily doses of certain natural foods have been associated with combating radiation poisoning. Many of these foods were discovered to be beneficial during the treatment of exposed, or contaminated, patients during the fallout in Hiroshima.

Beneficial Foods

Foods which are beneficial include sea vegetables, including kelp, spirulina, chorella and other algae products. Considering the notion right now that ocean seaweeds are absorbing a large percentage of radiation dumped in the ocean near the Fukishima plants, seaweeds will no longer be a viable solution in the months to come. Stock up now.

Taking small daily doses of these seaweeds help the body to release toxic substances from the system. Eat your daily doses of vegetables; vegetables are part of natural detoxification. Cabbage is said to be particularly beneficial in the process of radiation cleansing, or chelation. However, keep in mind which large-leafy vegetables could be highly radiated at the present time, and refrain from eating those.

Other studies have shown that baking soda soaks help remove radiation from the body, as well as brushing the teeth with baking soda. During the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear bombs, a doctor administered the baking soda bathe successfully. The consequence: No deaths from radiation at his clinic.

What we can gather from these previous studies is that probably any food or detox practice, including sauna usage, is likely good for assisting in detoxing from radiation risks. However, from what we understand, from Hiroshima and Chernobyl is that baking soda and zeolite are both good radiation detox substances. Both baking soda and food-grade zeolite may be taken orally as well.

Washing your laundry in a half a cup of baking soda is another preventative measure.

Add a small pinch of baking soda to your one-cup of drinking water. Please be sure to purchase a water purifier as well. Water distillation, reverse osmosis or even a PUR brand tap filter will help filter out radioactive particles and gases. Charcoal filters are very good at filtering out most, if not all, radioactive particles from drinking water.

Staying as healthy as possible is always one of the best preventative measures we can take and is also within our means of control. Taking antioxidant supplements (rather than eating leafy vegetables that may be radiated) and seaweeds, along with detox bathes may be the best protocol.

Foods to Avoid

Refraining from highly-sugared foods is advised with radiation poisoning. Healing is blocked when sugar is taken regularly, particularly refined sugar. But this remains valid for many disease processes where refined sugar lowers the immunity function in almost all disease pathways.

Another suggestion is to avoid milk products, until radiation levels decrease in intensity. Many have noted had the Soviet Union told Chernobyl the true facts and advised citizens not to drink the milk, many (if not most) of the deaths and ill health effects could have been avoided (Apart from those immediately contaminated with extremely high doses of gamma radiation during the nuclear crisis).
